Nail art guru Eun Kyung Park, at the Korean Fashion Week, showcased ‘glass nail art’- a fashion trend that has caught everyone’s fancy. The trend emulates shattered glass, hence the name. The West is looking to Kyung Park for more fashionable nail art ideas such as gemstone nails and hole nails too. For now, let us try and master the original via a simple DIY.
DIY GLASS NAIL ART | Excited about the glass nail art manicure at home? You will need a base coat, top coat, iridescent paper, pair of tweezers and nail polish.
Apply the base coat first.
Paint your nails with coloured nail polish.
Cut iridescent paper in any shapes you like.
With a tweezer, place these paper shapes onto the nails.
Wait for them to stick and the paint to dry.
Complete the look with two strokes of top coat.
