To say that Tara Sutaria is having a good year would be a gross understatement. The young Bollywood actress made a splash on the silver screen earlier this month with Student of the Year 2 alongside Tiger Shroff and fellow debutante Ananya Pandey. And now, less than two weeks later, she has been named the first Indian brand ambassador for American cosmetics giant Bobbi Brown. If that’s not a flying start to one’s career, we don’t know what is!

A self-professed lover of makeup, Sutaria has made it known that she enjoys experimenting with a variety of cosmetic products, even browsing social media to stay on top of the latest beauty trends. It’s no surprise then that she’s been chosen to be the face of Bobbi Brown; with her fresh-faced looks, determined personality, and independent spirit, she perfectly encapsulates what the brand is all about.

To celebrate her association with the cosmetic company, Sutaria unveiled two exclusive indulgent shades from the brand’s Crushed Liquid Lip range that she is currently crushing on, viz. the bold red Cherry Crush and the easy pink-cum-nude Juicy Date, at an exclusive event at Inorbit Mall, Mumbai, on the 18th of this month. Dressed in a lovely pale pink mini dress, Sutaria happily interacted with a bunch of beauty bloggers at the do and even stopped to pose for pictures in the Crushed Liquid Lip-inspired photobooth that had been specially created to highlight all 14 decadent shades from the collection.

In a series of three videos on her Instagram page, Sutaria plays with the lipstick shades and shows off the intensely lush, superfruit-infused formula,balm-like smooth texture, and subtle sheen, thereby highlighting their versatility for the ideal day to night transition. Simultaneously, Bobbi Brown India’s Instagram page is equally busy, with a detailed Instagram story titled ‘The Big Reveal’ and grids bursting with a colourful swatches of pink, red, and brown.
