Picture Rihanna with rainbow brows, red lashes, and a teal cut crease in John Galliano couture. It sounds like a beautiful fever dream, but in fact, it's the May cover of Harper's Bazaar. The Fenty Beauty founder covers the magazine's Beauty Issue, and she used it as an opportunity to show off a whole bunch of never-before-seen makeup from the brand.
Makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench created a multicolor, avant-garde look worthy of Rihanna's groundbreaking role in the beauty industry. The cover is a tight shot of Rihanna's eye makeup. After a full five minutes of looking at the photo without blinking, I can confidently say that the look includes yellow underliner; black liquid liner; red and black mascara or another product coating her lashes; pink, red, and coral eye shadow; and green, teal, and pink coating her brows.
Just the photos themselves would be a gift from the summer beauty gods, but the new, bright shades seem to be actual upcoming Fenty Beauty products. The brand confirmed as much via Instagram: "We spy something coming soon on @badgalriri’s May cover of @harpersbazaarus... stay tuned!"
