Spaces

Now we can all be travel influencers by capturing these picturesque destinations!

A survey conducted by Schofields UK confirmed that over 40% of millennials are choosing their vacation destinations based upon how socially shareable their holiday will be. It is true; if it is not on the ‘gram then has it even ever happened? We are at a digital-happy space where we build our lives surrounded by the ‘likes’ and admiration we derive from others. It has become a sort of a utopian world, where everything seems possible, everything feels happy! But hey, we are not complaining, Instagram does have its perks – especially for travellers. You no longer have to go through fat travel guides to find your next travel destination, neither do you have to ask your friends about their recommendations, your Instagram screen now becomes a window to the world. So whether you want to freeze those photogenic memories or just want to make your holiday more satisfying by flaunting it on the ‘gram, here are some picture-perfect spots around the world that’ll guarantee an Insta worthy vacay!

Centuries after the flood hit its borders, the water streams still continue to define the village’s landscape and history. Popularly known as the ‘Venice of Holland’, this little precinct has no roads, only water boats to connect you to every nook and corner of this beautiful place. Known for its thatched roofs, characteristic wooden bridges, and Canalside restaurants, this charming countryside is so picturesque, you won’t even need any filters to sharpen your images.

From far away, this mountain scape looks like a delectable piece of candy-striped rainbow cake that is developed from a thick amount of mineral deposits painted across sandstone rock, which was previously hidden under a thick layer of ice! Perhaps this is why the Vinicunca mountain in Peru is so famous – apart from being a photogenic location, the 16,000-foot majestic marvel makes for quite an adventurous trek that takes around 6 days to reach the tip of its peak. So much for Instagram, we guess it is totally worth the effort!

We are talking about the ‘most Instagrammed pool’  in the world- the Iceberg Pool – that started as a health initiative for the local lifesavers in Bondi sands area. Thanks to its close vicinity to the Bondi beach trail, the massive saltwater pool, and the adjacent kiddie pool sits handsomely on Bondi beach and gives swimmers (even non-members) a chance to swim alongside the lashing waves and clear skies.

The 35-metre ocean trench is located in the village of Lotofaga on the southeast coast of Samoan island of Upolu and is also considered to be the world’s most beautiful swimming hole! It is an after effect of a volcano eruption in the area leading to most of the ground fall away and become a trench or To Sua (big hole with water coming out of it) with clear turquoise water, beautifully covered moss walls and a single ladder (which is the only access to it), it literally is a custom-made for your Instagram feed.

Having so many Insta-worthy spots around the world, which one is coming to your feed?
